Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

Given the low economic base of the project and the nature of the target group, marginalized women, with low incomes and living in poverty, most of whom lack skills and knowledge for survival and are always discriminated in productive ventures, FFHWG saw the need to host volunteers.

The aim is to

• To get ideas, advise and views of volunteers concerning the nature / strategy on project implementation
• To create an avenue for learning on Ugandan culture especially eastern culture where the project is.
• To capture issues affecting women through surveys / Research
• Help the project earn some money for promoting improved livelihoods among the women (sustainability)
