Kodak supported Bam Project in partnership with NGOs

On 26th December 2003, Bam City was devastated by an enormous earthquake. exhibition marking the first anniversary of the earthquake. Five months later, Picture People, a UK based Charitable Trust, went to Bam and began the ‘Bam Project’.

With the partnership of the British NGO, Merlin, and the Swiss NGO, Terres des Hommes, Kodak handed one-time-use cameras to one hundred men, women and children in Bam for them to document everyday life as the city tried to rebuild. In November 2004, Kodak sponsored the photo exhibition marking the first anniversary of the earthquake.
