The Kham Aid Foundation is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1997 to support the conservation of Tibet's architecture and culture. Based in Pasadena, California, it has developed a broad range of assistance programmes that focus on cultural heritage, health, education, economic development, disaster relief and environmental protection. The Foundation accepts donations of goods-in-kind, such as working computers and computer parts, wheelchairs, school equipment, hospital equipment, medical supplies, clothing and books.
