What is Global Hand?
Global Hand is a matching service helping corporate/ community groups partner with NGOs: a non-profit brokerage facilitating public/ private partnership.

- Freight, including shipping, warehousing, air, rail, road, etc.
- Goods, including the full gamut in product line: computers, medical, textile, building materials, furnishings, tools, vehicles, food, etc.

Standards of Best Practice
We are acutely aware of the dangers one can face in material aid when inappropriate product is placed. Goods may be culturally inappropriate, technologically irrelevant. They may clog ports or cause damage to the local economy. As a result, we are developing international standards of best practice with interaction from colleagues in major NGOs worldwide.
Library
Finding appropriate partners, in this context, can be difficult. As a result, we have set up a library with information searchable by need type, region etc. on freight, logistics, volunteering, funding, and further related services. This currently points to over a million organisations.
Forum
Discussion circles allow users to interact on issues of mutual relevance. Any number of these can be set up to allow focus with special interest groups.
